Paloncha

Paloncha(పాల్వంచ) or Palwancha is mandal HQ (Mdl code-16) in Khammam Dt, AP. There are 20 villages in this mandal and the villages are:1 Chandralagudem, 2 Vulavanoor, 3 Karegattu, 4 Yanambailu, 5 Sarekal, 6 Pandurangapuram, 7 Suraram, 8 Payakari Yanambylu, 9 Palwancha (u), 10 Lakshmidevipalle, 11 Somulagudem, 12 Rangapuram, 13 Nagaram, 14 Thogugudem, 15 Repallewada, 16 Koyagutta, 17 Narayanaraopeta, 18 Sangam, 19 Danthelabora, 20 Gangadevi guppa.

One of the major industrial belt in Andhra Pradesh, located in Khammam District. It is here the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station(KTPS) is located. It is a beautiful peaceful town facing the hillocks of eastern ghats on the south east and the thermal power station on the northwest. Located here is one of the major thermal power generating stations of India and a Sponge Iron Plant, Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys Plant and many other ancillary industrial units.Near by is Kinnerasani Dam.
